Terms and conditions for tutees 

By proceeding with any trial or paid lesson with Avenue Education, it is understood that you have read, acknowledged, and agreed to the Terms and Conditions outlined below. If you do not agree with these Terms, please inform us before the lesson begins.

 

1. Payments - Packages cover four (4) upcoming lessons and must be paid in advance. Payments are non-refundable once made.

2. Trial Lessons - 30-minute online session.

 

• If you sign up after the trial, you’ll be charged $25 for the trial.

• If you do not sign up, the trial will be free of charge.

• ​

3. No Direct Payments to Tutors - All payments must be made only through Avenue Education. Please do not make any direct payment to tutors.

4. Communication - All lesson-related communication will take place in a WhatsApp group created by Avenue Education, which includes the admin, tutor, and tutee (or parent).

5. Leave / Rescheduling

• Rescheduling is free if done more than 24 hours before the lesson.

• If lessons are rescheduled twice or more (except for emergencies), a 25% fee of the lesson rate will apply.

6. Liability – Avenue Education acts solely as a matching and administrative service. Tutors are independent contractors, and Avenue Education accepts no responsibility or liability for any loss, injury, or issue arising from lessons. All lessons are conducted at the parent’s and tutor’s own discretion and responsibility.
